Report: Rockridge School District spent $9,117 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rockridge Community Unit School District 300 was down 6.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Rock Island Today analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Rock Island County school district spent $9,709 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,117 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,120 to 1,066 students over the same period.

Rockridge's spending in 2019-20 was 37.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
