Q4 2022 Recap: 3 parolees from Henry County convicted of crimes against persons set for release

There were three offenders convicted of crimes against persons living in Henry County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Rock Island Today.

The data shows two men and one woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against persons was 33. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced in 2021, and the oldest was a 42-year-old woman sentenced in 2012.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Noah M. Hess. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 24 years old. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
