Geneseo High School had the highest enrollment among Henry County schools, welcoming 819 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.5% of them were boys, and 48.5% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 91.6% of the student body at Geneseo High School.

Among the 26 schools in Henry County, Geneseo Middle School ranked second in enrollment with 591 students, while Kewanee High School welcomed 570 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

Geneseo High School is a part of Geneseo Community Unit School District 228, which generally encompasses schools within Henry County with its main office in Geneseo.

In the previous school year, Geneseo High School had the highest number of students among Henry County schools.
