City of Aledo City Council met Feb. 5.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

IV. Consent Agenda: (Note: Items listed under Consent Agenda are considered to be routine in nature and will be acted upon by one motion and one vote. If separate action on any particular item is desired, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately.)

A. Approval of Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 16, 2024.

B. Approval of Finance: Invoice Listing – AP02.

C. Approval of the Hiring of Andrew Davis as an Aledo Police Department Part-time Police Officer effective February 6, 2024.

D. Approval of City Sponsorship – Mercer County Athletic’s Boosters Bear Country Wrestling Tournament in the amount of $1,500.00.

V. Public Comment: (Note: Each Speaker shall confine comments to five (5) minutes or less, restrict remarks to matters relevant to the governance of the City, avoid repetitious statements and refrain from vulgar or otherwise inappropriate language or references.

VI. Action Items:

A. Resolution No. 05R, Series of 2024; Approving Quote for Purchase and Installation of IP Phone System from Tri-City Electric Company.

B. Resolution No. 06R, Series of 2024; Approving Operation and Maintenance Service Agreement and Certified Water System Operator Contract for Operation of Water and Sewer Systems.
