The Governance, Health & Administration Committee met at the above date and time in the Board Chambers on the third floor of the County Office Building. Meeting Minutes as follow:
Call to order and roll call
Chairwoman Enburg called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM. A roll call was taken as follows:

Chairwoman Enburg noted this policy was specific to the County’s work ProjectNOW and for RIM transportation grants

Chairwoman Enburg noted this resolution was to designate Visit Quad Cities as the County’s agent for tourism.

Review of Pending/Proposed Legislative & Policy Matters Affecting Rock Island County Mr. McNeil called attention to the report that Chairman Brunk circulated on the Annual Review of legislation provided by the IL Association of County Board Members.
He stated if any members had questions, he sits on legislative committee and was happy to send questions or clarify issues to lobbyists in Springfield.
Ms. Woods commented on the Courthouse square, noting that the space looked really good and inquired as to what was next. Chairman Brunk shared with the committee that the Public Works & Facilities Committee approved the purchase of signage to identify the square and greet people into the County off of the bridge. He noted benches were ordered and trees planted from Living Lands and Waters. He stated working through some other items for the square.
