CONSENT AGENDA:

1. Approve payment of bills/Claims by Vendor report for the period of July 9-22, 2024.

2. Approve payroll for the period July 11, 2024.

3. Approve minutes for July 8 and 9, 2024 City Council Meetings

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Approve and Consent to the Mayoral Appointment of Jacob Waterman to office of 4th Ward Alderman to fill the unexpired term per statue. Vacated by the resignation of Richard Goodrum until the next consolidated election in April 2025.

2. Review, discuss and approve the City of Colona's annual financial report for the year ended April 30, 2023. Report compiled and completed by Timmer and Associates P.C. of Rock Island, IL April 22, 2024 and received July, 2024.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Announce the appointment of Jacob Waterman to (Public Safety Committee, Public Works Committee.

2. Approve short form service agreement for lift station engineering study, Poppy

Garden Road and Clover Drive. Time and material with IMEG, city's engineering firm. Authorize Mayor to execute agreement.

3. Review and discuss IDOT required bridge inspection report of May 31, 2024 by IMEG for facility/Briar Bluff Rd over turn creek just north of US Rt. 6 and West Rt. 84.

4. Review and discuss IDOT required routine bridge inspection report of May 31, 2024 perform by IMEG Engineers for facility located at East 450th St. 0.1 mile south of Rt 6 over Mud Creek. The bridge condition continues to deteriorate and has been known by previous administrations and council with no viable response or action addressing this situation.

5. Approve the allocation of MFT Funds to the repaired rehabilitation of E450th structure over Mud Creek and authorize the Mayor to proceed with the necessary steps to move this project forward. Secure permits and engineering and temporary safety precautions to protect the public.

6. Approve IMEG short form service agreement for survey lift station on Poppy Garden Rd. Identify easement limits at lift station, and provide plat drawing. Authorize Mayor to execute the agreement.

7. Award contract for Waste Water Treatment Plant. Access Plan and authorize Mayor to execute all necessary documents. Bid opening at 10am 7/22/24 at City Hall. Bids to be announced at City Council Meeting.
