State Senator Neil Anderson | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Neil Anderson has initiated his annual "Valentines for Seniors" card drive, which will continue until February 7, 2025. The initiative invites community members from the 47th District to create personalized Valentine's Day cards for local seniors.
"This program is a wonderful way for our community to express appreciation and love for our seniors," said Senator Anderson. "Valentine’s Day can be a lonely time for some, and we hope these cards will bring smiles and remind our seniors they are loved and valued."
Senator Anderson encourages participation from students, scout troops, churches, and other organizations. The crafted cards will be distributed to nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, and long-term care centers within the district.
Cards can be delivered or mailed to Senator Anderson's District Office at 103 N. College Ave., Suite 201, Aledo, IL 61231. The office accepts drop-offs during business hours from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. An after-hours mailbox is also available outside the office.
