City of Moline Special Events Committee met Feb. 3.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
1. Approval of the January 22, 2025 Meeting Minutes
2. Consideration of a Special Event Application for Renew Moline to utilize the Historic Block Courtyard for a Rockin’ in the Courtyard event. The event is to be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. (this includes set-up and clean-up time). Supporting information and special consideration requests are detailed in the Special Event Application.
3. Consideration of a Special Event Application for the Empowering Abilities (Handicapped Development Center) to temporarily close 17th Street, just south of the circle drive for a 5K fundraiser event, The Cities Spring Classic. This event is planned to take place at Bass Street Landing for an Easter egg hunt and gathering at the circle drive to head east on the Bike Path to the I-74 Bridge Path and back. This event is scheduled to be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 6:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (this includes set-up and clean-up time). Supporting information and special consideration requests are detailed in the Special Event Application.
