The Committee of the Whole of the City of Geneseo was called to order on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present:

-Chief & Admin 2024 Review: 02/25/25
City Administrator Maeglin informed the Council that the City Administrator and Chief of Police reviews will be completed during the Executive Session at the February 25, 2025, meeting.
The discussion on solar is postponed for the time being, as the City Attorneys at Ancel Glink are reviewing proposed changes to the contracts that would be used for this project proposal.
A reminder: a Special City Council meeting will follow the Committee of the Whole meeting, starting no earlier than 6:30 pm tonight.
8 ADMINISTRATION
8.1. R-25-01: APPROVING USE OF COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS FOR THE RICHMOND HILL PARK STAGE DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
If approved, this would allow City Staff to accept competitive proposals from contractors for the pavilion/stage project. Hannah McGee, a Geneseo High School student, is assisting with the project as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award and has written grant applications to support it. The City aims to have the concrete work completed by Thrill on the Hill.
Brett Barnhart moved, seconded by Craig Arnold, Motion to recommend approval of R-25-01 to the Special City Council Meeting.
