A busy weekend unfolded across the district with various community events taking place. The Monmouth Kiwanis hosted a pancake and sausage breakfast, receiving strong support from the local community.

Later, Galesburg High School held a "Choose to Thrive" wellness day, which included participation from teachers, administrators, and staff in both individual and team activities. Several local agencies were present to share information about their services. Among the highlights was a young boy who not only brought cupcakes but also baked them himself.

Additionally, Pat Moore celebrated her 104th birthday at Heritage Woods with family members present. A House certificate was presented to honor this milestone occasion. Reflecting on her life, Moore shared memories of her family and fondly recalled her yellow Buick car.
