The Moline City Council approved a new Equitable Sharing Agreement between the Moline Police Department and the federal government Feb. 2 at City Hall.
Equitable Sharing Agreements lay out the terms for sharing the profits generated from property seized during police activities between local and federal authorities.
The council also gave MetroLINK permission to build bus shelters along the city's right of way, updated internal policies for the fire and police department and held a closed session to discuss litigation.
The meeting lasted 46 minutes.
Alderman Schoonmaker was absent.
