Moline Coal Valley School District representatives recently gathered to vote on a new assistant superintendent.
The School District No. 40 Board of Education met Monday at the Coolidge School to vote on approving a new assistant superintendent of pupil/personnel and special services for the Moline Coal Valley School District.
After being selected, an approved candidate would begin working July 1.
The board was also expected to vote on changes to its student discipline policies, approve 2016-17 school calendars and vote on a $41,000 internet services contract with Geneseo Communications Inc.
The board is comprised of President Justin Anderson, Vice President Bob Dyer, Ben McAdams, Connie McElyea, Tim Miller, Kate Schaefer and Susan Tucker.
