A Moline citizens group will hold a hearing to discuss funding priorities.
The Moline Special Citizens Advisory Council on Urban Policy will hold a special meeting April 4 at Moline City Hall to review its 2016 funding recommendations.
The council will specifically focus on how to allocated the city's Community Development Block Grant.
The council will also hold a public hearing on this year's annual action plan.
The council's current list of recommendations totals $702,032 and includes nearly $300,000 in support for affordable housing programs, as well as funding for economic development, sidewalk repairs and other programs.
The council's spending amounts exceed the original 2016 projections by approximately $40,000, most of which comes from $30,000 recommended for economic development projects. The city's previous projections did not allocate any money for that particular line item.
The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Moline City Hall is located at 619 16th St.
