The Little Dribblers kindergarten basketball league will have a fall session beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 12, according to moline.il.us.
Training sessions and games in this co-ed program will take place 5:30-7:15 p.m. each Wednesday through Dec. 7 at the Willard Elementary School gym, 1616 16th St. in Moline.
The PreK unit of Little Dribblers is full for the fall session.
The kindergarten session will use a youth-size basketball, which measures 27.5 inches in circumference, and a 7-foot basket. Dribbling, shooting, and making and receiving passes will be among the skills taught, with a focus on fundamentals and introducing the game to participants. The final two weeks of the session are set to be used for games. Participants should bring their own water bottles to games and practices.
Cost is $45, which includes a league T-shirt.
