The Black Hawk College 5K Hustle is set to start at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, beginning in front of the Moline campus's Building 1, 6600 34th Ave., according to www.bhc.edu.
The event is a fundraiser for the college's physical therapist assistant program.
The race begins at 8 a.m., with packet pickup and race-day registration running from 6:45-7:45 a.m. in Building 1's Upper Lobby.
Awards will be given in 13 age groups. The post-race party will include fruit, cookies and raffle prizes; a drawing for a $200 VISA gift card will be held. Backpacks will be available to registered runners and walkers. Participants should enter through the 70th Street entrance and use Lot 1 for parking.
