State Senator Neil Anderson | Illinois General Assembly
Today, Governor JB Pritzker announced his intention to run for a third term as the Governor of Illinois. In reaction to this announcement, State Senator Neil Anderson from Andalusia released a statement expressing his views on the governor's record.
Senator Anderson stated, “Illinoisans have witnessed firsthand the consequences of JB Pritzker’s tenure as governor.” He criticized Governor Pritzker's policies, claiming they have transformed Illinois into "a taxpayer-funded sanctuary for illegal immigrants and unlimited abortion." Additionally, Anderson accused Pritzker of restraining law enforcement professionals and infringing on Second Amendment rights. He also alleged that the governor's policies prioritize criminals over victims.
Anderson concluded his statement by affirming his commitment to "fight to put working families first, protect our communities and safeguard our constitutional freedoms."
