The city of Silvis Playground and Recreation Board met Nov. 3 to discuss the volleyball league scheduling.

Silvis City Hall, 121 – 11th Street, Silvis, IL
Juan Escontrias called meeting to order at 6:30 pm
Members present: Juan Escontrias, Bob Roman, Mike Johnson, Katie Brooks, Bruce Nelson
Members absent: None
Also present: City Administrator Jim Grafton
Bob Roman made a motion to accept the October minutes, as written. Motion seconded by Mike
Johnson. All ayes – motion carried.
Juan Escontrias read the bills:
B & B Drain/Hi-Nee Huts $ 100.00
Call One $ 10.00
MidAmerican Energy $ 153.46
Speed Connect $ 194.85
Silvis School District $ 160.00
Total $ 618.31
Bob Roman made a motion to pay all bills for October. Motion seconded by Mike Johnson. All
ayes – motion carried.
Old Business:
• Illowa will take care of the discrepancies (line color, net support).
• Mr. Grafton will be in contact with Larry York about the possible change to Hibbs Park.
We need further discussion before moving on.
New Business:
• Katie Brooks will contact Karen Scott from the Silvis Volleyball League about
scheduling.
Mike Johnson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Bruce Nelson. All
ayes – motion carried at 7:27pm.
