Soccer and flag football leagues for children are now underway in Moline, according to the city's parks and recreation winter/spring 2017 online program guide.

"Little Strikers" soccer is held 5:30-8:30 p.m Fridays, Jan. 20-March 10, at Coolidge Gym. The coed pee-wee league is for kids in pre-K through fourth grade.

Classes are broken down into pre-K, kindergarten, grades 1-2 and grades 3-4. Cost is $45 per participant. A league t-shirt is included with the cost.

The "Mini-Wheelers" indoor flag football season runs 8 a.m.-noon Saturdays, Jan. 14-March 4, at John Deere Middle School -- for players in pre-K through ninth grade.

Divisions are broken down into pre-K and kindergarten, grades 1-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-6, and grades 7-9. Cost per participant is $45, which includes a t-shirt.
