PLAYGROUND & RECREATION BOARD MINUTES December 1, 2016 Silvis City Hall, 121 – 11th Street, Silvis, IL Juan Escontrias called meeting to order at 6:35 pm Members present: Juan Escontrias, Bob Roman, Bruce Nelson Members absent: Mike Johnson, Katie Brooks Also present: City Administrator Jim Grafton Bob Roman made a motion to accept the November minutes, as written. Motion seconded by Bruce Nelson. All ayes – motion carried. Juan Escontrias read the bills: B & B Drain/Hi-Nee Huts $ 100.00 Call One $ 10.00 Commercial Recreation Specialists $ 2,799.75 MidAmerican Energy $ 148.24 Speed Connect $ 119.18 Silvis School District $ 320.00 Total $ 3,497.17 Bob Roman made a motion to pay all bills for November. Motion seconded by Bruce Nelson. All ayes – motion carried. Old Business: • None New Business: • Talked about the new shelter & maintenance building at Schadt Park after the old one gets torn down.
