The city of Silvis Park, Building, and Grounds Committee met Jan. 3 to repair the temperature control system.

Chairman York called the meeting to order at 6:00pm and noted a quorum was present. There are two agenda item for consideration.
The first agenda item $2,554 to repair the temperature control system in City Hall. The work includes installing a dryer for the thermostats. Since this was an emergency repair the work has been started by Bornhoeft heating and Cooling Company. Committee was in agreement with the recommendation.
Chairman York explained that he would like the stained ceiling tiles at the City hall replaced. He was looking to get bids for tile replacement. Jim said that he could have his staff replace the stained tiles and the timing would be good since this is the slower time of the year.
No committee action was required and the meeting was adjourned at 6:04.
