The city of Rock Island recently partnered with The Public Group to sell some of the city’s used surplus items, including equipment and vehicles.
Some of the items include clothing, computers, furniture, jewelry, food supplies, medical supplies and automotive parts. A full list is available on publicsurplus.com. The items are up for auction and vary in price, depending on the item and how used it is.
All must register to view and purchase the equipment and vehicles. Registration is free and can be done on the Public Surplus website. All bids and sales are done on the site.
