The annual Senior and Veterans Fair is set to take place in Galesburg on June 18. This year's event will be held at a new location, The Vault at Reserve Artisan Ales, situated at 185 S. Kellogg in Galesburg. The fair is open to the public and free of charge, running from 9 a.m. until noon.
Attendees can benefit from free health screenings and access various vendors offering information about state programs and services available to local veterans and seniors. Additionally, complimentary refreshments will be provided, along with the opportunity to register for door prizes.
Simultaneously, an electronics recycling event will occur nearby. Eagle Enterprises Recycling, Inc. will collect approved electronic items while space permits at the Knox County Sheriff’s parking lot located at the northeast corner of Prairie and Tompkins Streets.
