Augustana College's Caitlyn Schaffer earned her 100th victory in women's tennis at the school, according to the Vikings' athletic website.
Schaffer, a sophomore from Chicago, hit the 100 mark in a doubles match when she teamed with Zeana Badawi for an 8-3 win over the University of Mary team of Eileen Leong and Danielle Wolf on March 2 in Orlando.
The win gave Schaffer the distinction of getting to 100 career wins faster than any player in the school's history.
Last season, Schaffer had 31 singles wins and 30 victories in doubles competition, with both numbers being single-season records for the Augustana program. She combined with Madeline Lombardi to win the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin championship at No. 3 doubles.
This season, Schaffer won 21 of her first 25 singles matches and won 19 of her first 21 doubles matches.
