Eric Pohl, a junior at Augustana College, earned Player of the Week honors in the College Conference Illinois and Wisconsin in early April, according to the college's website.
A junior from Palatine, Pohl won all four of his matches on April 2 against Millikin in Decatur and Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington. He had two wins at No. 2 singles and teamed with Samuel Totten to claim two victories at No. 1 doubles as well.
The Vikings won both matches, topping Millikin 5-4 and downing Illinois Wesleyan 9-0.
At the time, Pohl had a 96-73 career record at Augustana, combining singles and doubles wins. He is on pace to be the 16th player to reach 100 career wins in the Vikings program.
