Village of Hampton Board of Trustees met June 15.

Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

Be it remembered, that there came and was held a Special Meeting of The Board of Trustees of The Village of Hampton, Illinois in The Village Hall of said Village:

Members present: 

President Richard Vershaw

Trustee Heintz 

Trustee Hamilton 

Trustee King 

Trustee Van Dieren 

Trustee Goodman 

Trustee Adams

Others present: Ryan Olsen; Luke Bessie; Jim Massa; Diane Oberhardt; Curt Edmondson; Nick Stottler;

In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, this meeting was tape recorded.

President Vershaw called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Clerk Bergeson called the roll noting a quorum present.

A special meeting was called to order regarding the matters in Safe Harbor and the different developers and owners. President Vershaw called the meeting to order to discuss the different issues that are going on with Safe Harbor. Discussions on leaks and how to proceed. Jim Massa presented maps of the easements and current pipe works for February 1, 2000. President Vershaw was very concerned with the current line and no hydrant to flush the water. President Vershaw will be in contact with Supervisor McKay to collect a water sample. Village of Hampton will contact Phoenix to begin the excavation on the sink hole next week.

A Motion to approve the excavation of the sink hole on 9"Street. Motion by Trustee King, second by Trustee Hamilton to approve the excavation. Roll Call as follows: King, Hamilton, Heintz, Van Dieren, Goodman and Adams: "Aye”. Motion carried.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:51 pm.
