The calls in Silvis included 28 fires - 15 structure fires, four vehicle fires and five other fires. The fire department also responded to four calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $5,000,500 in fire loss - or about $178,589 per fire.
The department also received 56 false calls, including seven malicious calls and 49 other false calls.
Two fire service members were injured in fire-related incidents.
The Silvis Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has one active employee and retired or inactive employee, was $12,051 positive as of April 2016, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $430 for every fire in 2016.
