Quad Cities-area job seekers are being invited to an employment fair hosted by the local chamber of commerce on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Frances Willard School in Rock Island.
Those looking for employment opportunities at the free event will be able to meet with employers, apply for job openings and learn information about different companies.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m.; the event will run until 6 p.m. Free drinks will be available.
Among the employers scheduled to take part in the event are Jumer's Casino & Hotel, Cobham, MetroLink, Friendship Manor, DES Employment Group, Eastern Iowa Community College, Blackhawk Community College and Rock Island-Milan School District #41.
The Frances Willard School is located at 2503 Ninth Street in Rock Island.
