City of Rock Island Beautification Commission met November 13.
Here is the agenda provided by the Commission:
I. Call to Order and Introductions
II. Old Business – The memo to the Mayor and City Council has been sent which asks for their selections for the Commercial Beautification Awards. Deadline for their selection is December 15th, 2017. Awards will be presented in January of 2018.
III. New Business
A. New Beautification Commission Member Nominees
B. October Yard of the Month Selection
IV. Other Business - It will soon be time for Holiday Lights to go up throughout Rock Island. Remember to take pictures of the most noteworthy. Please limit your nominees to two per Commission member. Our Holiday Lighting Tour will take place December 11th, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
V. Next Meeting – Monday, November 13th, 2017 in the CED Conference Room (2nd floor) at City Hall at 5:00 pm
