Business owners or those starting a business in the Quad Cities area can take advantage of free, confidential advising being offered at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities' campus in Moline.
The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the International Trade Center are offering advising as well as other financial services at WIU-Quad Cities, an article in the Milan Chamber of Commerce's November newsletter said. The facilities also can help attendees get financial projections as well as the latest information on regulations from local and federal governments and what marketing practices have the greatest impact.
Attendees also will learn about creating better cash-flow management through better accounting practices and how to benefit from e-commerce, the newsletter article said.
The SBDC also has an office in Macomb.
