The Milan Improvement Project's Arts and Craft Fair drew approximately 1,700 attendees and 130 exhibitors, the Milan Chamber of Commerce said in its November newsletter.
The fair, which was held Oct. 1 in the Eriksen Chevrolet lot, is an MIP fundraiser with donations being used to help improve the village of Milan, the newsletter said.
The newsletter article also highlighted the efforts of those who helped out at the event.
“Thank you also to our volunteers who were able to spare their time to help at the pop and food stands: Joe Schurr, Lisa Jordan, Lory Van Blair, Mike Brozovich, Randy Rogers, and Recha Fullerlove,” the newsletter said. “And a big thank-you to Betty Boltz and Del Steiert for providing the backbone of the whole event every time. These individuals help make the MIP Art and Craft Fair possible.”
The MIP's next event is scheduled for May 6 at Eriksen Chevrolet, the newsletter said.
