As part of a recent change in Moline’s city codes, 2,063 residential, rental and commercial properties were refunded water deposits in November, the city said in a release.
Owner-occupied residential properties received the refund as a credit to their utility accounts while rental and commercial properties received a check.
The refunds will appear in the balance due section on the next quarterly cycle bill, the release said.
