City of Silvis Finance Committee met Feb. 27.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:
Chairman Lohse called the meeting to order at 5:00pm and noted a quorum was present. There is one agenda item for consideration.
Chairman Lohse explained that there were a few discrepancies in the February 22no council meeting agenda and the purpose of this meeting was to rescind and approve three ordinances and one resolution. Because of typographical errors and omissions there was some confusion at the February 22nd council meeting; Ordinances 2018-07, 08 and 10 relate to necessary tax abatements and Resolution 2018-09R that covers the refinance of the 2008 bond. Clerk Nelson noted there would be new
Ordinance and Resolution numbers.
Committee was in agreement to move forward with the action of rescinding three ordinances and one resolution. The items would be placed on the March 6th Regular agenda.
There were no other agenda items and the meeting was adjourned at 5:07pm.
