Black Hawk College recently issued the following announcement.
Nick Cave of Colona was elected by his peers to be the student representative on the Black Hawk College Board of Trustees for 2018-19.
He was seated at the board’s April 26, 2018, meeting and will serve until April 2019.
Cave graduated from Geneseo High School and is pursuing an associate degree at the college’s Quad-Cities Campus in Moline.
After graduating from Black Hawk College, he plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He wants to be an entrepreneur and start his own company.
At Black Hawk College, he has been involved in multiple extracurricular activities as an officer or committee chair, including Phi Theta Kappa honor society, the English as a Second Language Mentor/Mentee Program and the Student Government Association.
