Western Illinois University Riverfront Campus recently issued the following announcement.
Western Illinois University's Department of Physics will host its "International Day of Light" event from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 in Currens Hall 302.
This event will include hands-on experiments and learning about real events.
This event will have many activities that include color mixing, separating light into rainbow, luminescence, invisibility, cloaking, optical illusions, stereoscope, interference, holograms, telescopes, microscopes and polarizers.
The Optical Society of America Student Chapter at WIU organized this event.
