QUAD CITIES CHAMBER: Webinar series offers insight into how to do business with Rock Island Corps of Engineers

Quad Cities Chamber recently issued the following announcement.

The US Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District office hosts bi-monthly webinars, “Understanding the Rock Island Corps of Engineers - Projects, Procurements and Processes,” to provide industry with basic information on the District's overall mission and historical contracted requirements. Webinar participants will take away information on how to best do business with the District as either a prime contractor or a subcontractor as well as recommendations and tools for growing their federal government business with the Corps of Engineers, and specifically the Rock Island District.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District administers federal water resource programs in a 78,000 square-mile area encompassing the eastern two-thirds of Iowa, the northern half of Illinois, portions of southern Wisconsin and Minnesota, and the northeast corner of Missouri. This area includes 314 miles of the Mississippi River, 268 miles of the Illinois Waterway and their tributaries, and 197,000 acres of federal land.

Webinars will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on the following dates:

November 8, 2018

January 15, 2019

March 19, 2019

May 14, 2019

July 16, 2019
