Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Henry County?

There were nine offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Henry County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Rock Island Today.

The data shows that five men and four women were released in Henry County. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 29-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 61-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jodie A. Cole. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when she was 41 years old. She is now 45.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
