City of Moline City Council met Oct. 9.

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting was called to order at 3:24 p.m.

AGENDA ITEM #1 – Public Comment

None

AGENDA ITEM #2 – Approval of Minutes

McDermott made a motion to approve the April 17, 2019, and September 3, 2019, minutes. Adams seconded the motion. Motion carried and was approved by all members.

AGENDA ITEM #3 – FY2019 Budget Update/Discussion

Manis reported that he has been working with Tara Osborne on the SSA #6 budget for the rest of 2019 and Contracted Services and Professional Technical will be over budget. He asked the Board for permission to reallocate funds by taking a total of $24,969 from Facility Management, Other Capital Projects and Payments to Agencies to cover the expenses. The Board discussed it with Manis.

Larry Anderson made a motion to approve reallocating funds of a total of $24,969 from Facility Management, Other Capital Projects and Payments to Agencies to Contractual Services and Professional Technical for the 2019 Budget. Peter McDermott seconded the motion. Motion was carried and was approved by all members.

AGENDA ITEM #4 – Director’s Report

Manis reported that he has a Capital Project that he would like to do of getting trees planted at the John Deere Commons again. Since Contracted Services is already going to be at full expense, he would like to take the amount out of reserves to have a contractor open the tree coffins, prepare them and plant new trees. The John Deere Commons Property Manager is onboard with it as well. Manis is getting three quotes and then will reach out to the Board with an update.

McDermott made a motion to adjourn at 3:55 p.m. Adams seconded the motion. Motion was carried and approved by all members.
