Orion Community Unit School District 223 Board of Education met Feb. 19.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
A tour of area Fine Arts Centers was held, organized by Legat Architects. School district attendees included: Joseph Blessman, Superintendent; Brandon Cooper, Board of Education Member; Nathan DeBaillie, Orion High School Principal; Stephanie Moen, Music Teacher; and Christi Monson, Board of Education Member.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., the group toured the North Scott High School Auditorium located at 200 South 1st Street, Eldridge, Iowa.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., the group toured the Davenport Central High School Auditorium located at 1120 Main Street, Davenport, Iowa.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., the group toured the Bettendorf High School Performing Arts Center located at 333 18th Street, Bettendorf, Iowa.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., the group toured the Bartlett Performing Arts Center (Moline-Coal Valley School District 40) located at 3600 Avenue of the Cities, Moline, Illinois. Peter Nedved, Board of Education President, joined the group for this tour.
The group disbursed at approximately 4:30 p.m., following the tour of the Bartlett Performing Arts Center in Moline.
