ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 72: Reminder for local artists to apply for the Arts for Illinois Relief Fund grants

72

Illinois State House District 72 issued the following announcement on April 9

Here is another reminder for local artists to apply for the Arts for Illinois Relief Fund grants. We need to make sure that downstate communities receive our fair share of this program. Some grants might be small, but every little bit will help us bounce back from this pandemic.

The Arts for Illinois Relief Fund provides financial relief to workers and organizations in the creative industries impacted by COVID-19.

Individuals are encouraged to apply for one-time grants of $1,500, which are awarded expediently and based on a lottery system. Arts organizations grants are likewise based on a combination of need and lost revenue from the crisis.

For more information and/or to apply for funding, please go to https://artsforillinois.org/donate-and-apply

We accept donations from individuals, foundations, and public sources. All of the donated funds will go directly to artists and arts organizations.
