Illinois State House District 72 issued the following announcement on June 3
Today, I wrote to the Speaker of the Illinois House, as well as to Senate President Harmon, supporting my colleagues’ call for a special session to address issues recently brought to the forefront again by the death of George Floyd. It is my hope that we convert this moment of tragedy to one of justice and progress for those communities that are forced to struggle under the current system.
