All items under the consent agenda will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussions of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which case, the item will be moved from the Consent Agenda and considered as the first item after the Omnibus Vote.

Approval of Minutes

Committee-of-the-Whole and Council meeting minutes of December 15, 2020.

Resolutions

1. Council Bill/Resolution 1001-2021

A Resolution authorizing certain contracts for treatment chemicals to be used by the Department of Public Works for the calendar year 2021 and authorizing the Utilities General Manager to execute the necessary contract documents for purchase of said treatment chemicals in the quantities needed.

2. Council Bill/Resolution 1002-2021

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to approve and attest to an exception to the moratorium on hiring pursuant to Resolution 1051-2020 to consolidate and reclassify, with likely related increase in pay, the positions of Sewer Maintenance Manager and Water Distribution Manager to Utilities Field Manager and hire a Utilities Field Crew Leader and Water Distribution Worker.

3. Council Bill/Resolution 1003-2021

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to approve and attest to an exception to the moratorium on hiring pursuant to Resolution 1051-2020 to hire a WPC Mechanic.

4. Council Bill/Resolution 1004-2021

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to approve and attest to an exception to the moratorium on hiring pursuant to Resolution 1051-2020 to hire a WPC Plant Operator.

5. Council Bill/Resolution 1005-2021

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and attest to an Independent Contractors Agreement with RACOM for a Fire Station Alerting System in the amount of $182,460.
