City of Colona Public Safety Committee Met April 19.

Meeting called to order at 3:32pm

Present: Alterman Shady-Dahl, Alderman Stablein, and Chief Swemline Absent: Alderman King and Laura LaMantia
Reports/Communication
March stats were distributed:
315 calls for service
City Ordinance = $275.00
Pet Tag/Animal = $0
CORA = $3260.00
Misc. = $10.00
Old Business
Police department floors have been completed, walls have been painted, and the window has been repaired/replaced. The door has yet to be installed.
New Business
Currently, the golf cart registration fee is $50 per year due May 1 regardless of the date you register. It was proposed to consider prorating the golf cart registration fee from $50 to $25 for those registering between February 1 and April 30 (3 months prior to the yearly renewal date), which will then need to be renewed for the year on May 1 at the regular $50. The committee is in favor of this change. It was requested to add this to the agenda for the next city council meeting.

Alderman Stablein made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Shady-Dahl. Motion passed, meeting adjourned at 3:46pm.
