The Regular Council of the City of Geneseo was called to order on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present:

COUNCIL PRESENT:

Council Bob James, Council Brett Barnhart, Council Craig Arnold, Council Douglas Crow, Mayor Sean Johnson, Council Martin Rothschild, Council Paula Simosky, and Alderman James Roodhouse

COUNCIL ABSENT: Council Keith Kennett

STAFF PRESENT:

Director of Finance Jamie Matthews, City Administrator Brandon Maeglin, Director of IT Garrett Griswold, Attorney Derke Price, Deputy Chief of Police Kondon Karzin, Chief of Police Casey Disterhoft, Director of Public Works Chad VandeWoestyne, Building Inspector Rick Mills, and Director of Electrical Operations Eric Rowold

13.2. Approval of the farm lease agreement with the Geneseo FFA Chapter Craig Arnold moved, seconded by Brett Barnhart, Motion to approve the farm ground lease with the Geneseo Chapter of the FFA.

13.3. Approval of IMEG Engineering Proposals Addressing Water Retention Options and Geneseo Creek Cleanup Options

Craig Arnold moved, seconded by Douglas Crow, Motion to approve the IMEG proposal for engineering services for water retention for $157,000 to be paid out of TIF Route 6, and TIF Route 82/Commercial, subject to future reapportionment of costs based upon benefit.

Craig Arnold moved, seconded by Martin Rothschild, Motion to approve R 22-10, a resolution authorizing the purchase of a 2022 John Deere Gator using grant funds received from the Geneseo Foundation.
