The Public Works and Facilities Committee of the Rock Island County Board met at the above date and time in the County Administration Office located on the second floor of the County Office Building, 1504 Third Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois.

Agenda as follows:

1. Call to order and roll call

3. Approval of minutes from May 13th Minutes Public Works & Facilities

4. Reports to committee

5. Consider Resolution certifying names for to take the exanimation for County Engineer

6. Consider Resolution requesting consent to the appointment of an acting County Engineer

7. Consider Resolution requesting Local Agency Engineering Agreement with Hutchison Engineering

8. Consider MFT Resolution for Engineering Services –Sec. 24-00401-00-EG

9. Consider additional ARPA Funding for Juvenile Justice Center Remodel in the amount $171,390.00

10. Consider monument RFQ for monument restoration and addition on Historic Courthouse Square to be paid through ARPA

11. Consider Awarding Highway Sign bids

14. The Committee may enter into closed session per the following:

• 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (1) – The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity.

• 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (2) – Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.
