On Friday, a volunteer event took place at Junior Achievement BizTown in Moline, where seventh-grade students from AlWood, Cambridge, and Colona schools participated. Karen Schultz and another volunteer assisted in the Black Hawk College room. Students engaged in role-playing as business leaders to learn about financing, marketing, leadership, voting, and teamwork.

Following this event, an Amtrak Corridor meeting was held in Galesburg. The committee includes mayors and members of chambers of commerce and tourism organizations along the Amtrak corridor from Chicago to Quincy. Representatives from Princeton to Quincy participate on a quarterly basis.

Later that day, a speech was delivered at the Cambridge FFA Wreaths Across America event focusing on veterans and farmers. The FFA organized a program featuring members from the Orion VFW & American Legion who posted the colors and demonstrated flag folding. Afterward, FFA students placed wreaths on veteran and farmer graves throughout Henry County.
