The Moline Parks and Recreation Department is preparing for its sixth annual Trunk or Treat event, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Greenvalley Softball Complex.
More than 20 local organizations and businesses are participating by decorating their vehicles and handing out candy to attendees. The event also includes a costume contest for participants.
"This wonderful community tradition is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Family Credit Union. Thank you for your support!" stated organizers.
Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for families and children to celebrate Halloween in Moline.
