The City of Rock Island Parks and Recreation board met yesterday, Feb. 16, to review programming and discuss plans for an overdose awareness walk.
The board considered updates to the lease with Rock Island Baseball, approving a plan for a new golf learning center, as well as the result of a study carried out by recreation facility planning firm Ballard King.
The board also discussed the approval of five bids for janitorial supplies from Bi-State.
