The City of Moline’s Care Crew, an employee-led group, will host a Drive-Thru Toy Drive on Friday, October 17. The event will take place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Moline Public Works facility located at 3635 4th Ave, Moline, Illinois.
Community members are invited to participate by driving through and dropping off new, unwrapped toys, books, or games suitable for children of all ages. The donations collected will benefit Toys for Tots and aim to support local children during the holiday season.
According to organizers, “Every donation helps make the holidays brighter for kids in our community.”
The initiative has set a goal to fill an entire City of Moline dump truck with donated items. Organizers encourage residents to contribute what they can.
“Our goal? To fill an entire City of Moline dump truck with toys!” stated the announcement.
“Let’s show how much Moline cares! Together, we can make it happen,” organizers added.
