The East Moline City Council recently met to discuss authorizing the approval of the low responsive bid from Valley Construction Company.
The bid came in the amount of $474,035 for utility and street improvement.
The council also considered rejecting the bid submitted on April 12 for the storm pumps and Gatewell rehabilitation project.
