The Springfield-based Illinois Federation for Right to Life Federal Political Action Committee (IFRL-PAC) recently endorsed Republican Brandi McGuire in the race for the 72nd District state House seat.
“The … IFRL-PAC announces the endorsement of Brandi McGuire for the nomination as Republican candidate for the 72nd House District in the general election to be held on November 8, 2016,” the PAC said in its formal statement.
IFRL-PAC provided its support based on McGuire’s dedication to protecting the unborn, as well as individuals endangered at the end of life.

“McGuire has worked to protect the right to life in the State of Illinois for many years,” the IFRL-PAC statement said. “The federation is excited to endorse a candidate of such integrity and steadfast commitment to the cause of life. We know that (she) will be a champion for life in Springfield.”
The Illinois Federation for Right to Life, based in Springfield, with local affiliates throughout Illinois, is the largest grassroots pro-life group in the state.
“The protection of the lives of conceived, but yet unborn, children of Illinois and the nation is the foundation upon which we build all other rights,” the federation said. “If we do not restore and maintain protection of the Right to Life for the weakest and most helpless members of our society, we ourselves become endangered.”
